Hawaii Car Rental Rates as low as $105 per week

Perhaps you've seen me advertise car rentals in Hawaii for as low as $108/week in my Google and Yahoo pay-per-click ads as well as in the title of my Hawaii car rental website. Actually, I've done some checking and have pulled up rates from Enterprise for even less - $104.99/week. Thrifty, for $113.62/week, even during Thanksgiving week.

Enterprise:
As one example, a few minutes ago I checked rates using my mainland Discount Car Rentals website for Honolulu Airport (HNL), for DEC 1, 2009 to DEC 8, 2009. The Economy Car was listed at $104.99/week ($150.14 including taxes and fees). It should have been around $131/wk (+tax & fees). Here's how: When you get to the website link above, click the Enterprise car rental logo, which will take you to Enterprise's reservations page - fill it in and check some sample rates . Please note that with this special link, rates change all the time based on supply and demand. So keep checking various dates and islands and you're bound to find great Hawaii rental car rates.

Thrifty:
I just checked Thrifty using one of my special Hawaii car rental discount links and was able to find an Economy car for just $113.62/week ($143.89 including Taxes and fees) - even over Thanksgiving. Some of the other car sizes rates are great too. But an Economy car over Christmas using this link is $618.75/wk - Yikes! Here's how: Just click the link above, which will take you to the Thrifty Car Rental reservations page. Simply fill it in and check some rates. I checked several weekly rates in November and December on all islands and got the rate I mentioned.

Dollar / Thrifty 2010 Hawaii Car Rental Rates to be posted in November

UPDATE: Links to the 2010 Hawaii car rental rates are on my Hawaii car rental rates page.
I spoke to my Dollar/Thrifty Hawaii Car Rental rep this afternoon. She said the final meeting to finalize the 2010 rates will take place next week. This means I should have and poste them by November 1st. In the meantime, if you check 2010 rates before they activate them on the Dollar/Thrifty reservations pages, you'll get an error message (unless you remove the promo code. But then the rates are much much higher).

Dollar / Thrifty 2010 Hawaii Car Rental Rates STILL Coming Soon

I spoke to my Dollar / Thrifty rep this afternoon and was assured that getting the 2010 rates to me is still one of their first priorities. They are starting to lose more and more 2010 bookings to the other companies the longer this is delayed and they know it. They’re still ironing out some details and contractual agreements. So hang in there. I'll contact Enterprise tomorrow and see when their ETA is on the 2010 rates.

Avis and Budget have given me their 2010 Hawaii car rental rates. They are a little higher than their 2009 rates. No surprise there, eh? They can be seen by clicking the 2010 link under each of their logos on my Hawaii car rentals daily-weekly-monthly rates pages. Stay tuned for 2010 rates from Dollar, Enterprise and Thrifty.

Enterprise Hawaii Car Rental Rates Have Been Lowered

Aloha Hawaii Travelers,

If you’re traveling in 2009, Enterprise Hawaii Car Rental Rates have been reduced for the August 16th to December 15th 2009 time period. I have already posted these new Enterprise Hawaii rates on my rates page. They will be in effect on the Enterprise website (through my discount website link only) by Wednesday, August 12, 2009. If you happen to already have an Enterprise reservation during that time period and want to get these reduced Hawaii discount car rental rates, you can’t just modify your reservation. To get the cheap Hawaii rental car rates, you have to make an entirely new reservation. Once that reservation is confirmed, which is immediately, then go back in and cancel your original reservation.
